If something we committed to wasn't handled to standard, we'll make it right at no additional cost.
The guarantee does not cover pre-existing permanent damage discussed during check-in, including but not limited to: sun-bleached or heat-damaged upholstery, deep structural stains that have penetrated beyond the fabric surface, cracked or warped dashboard and trim components, permanent dye transfer, cigarette burns, or tears in leather and vinyl. These conditions will be identified and documented during your walk-through.
Our 30-day odor guarantee covers odors specifically targeted during your service. If a treated odor returns within 30 days, we will re-treat the affected area at no charge. However, some odors — like long-term heavy smoking — can soak deep into plastics, headliners, and interior materials, and mold or mildew may stem from moisture trapped under carpets, padding, or the vehicle's body. Coverage is subject to our initial walk-through inspection, where we'll be upfront about what's realistic to achieve. This guarantee does not cover new odor sources introduced after service or odors tied to underlying moisture or structural issues requiring mechanical repair.
Guarantee claims must be made within 30 days of service completion. Vehicle must be returned in reasonable condition (no new contamination or damage since service). Derek's Auto Detail reserves the right to document vehicle condition at check-in and check-out via photos.
