Paint correction addresses defects in the clear coat — swirl marks, light scratches, water spot etching, and oxidation. If a scratch has gone through the clear coat into the base paint (you can feel it with your fingernail), it can be significantly reduced but may not be fully eliminated. We'll tell you upfront what to expect.

The correction itself is permanent — those defects are physically removed. But new swirl marks and scratches will accumulate over time through normal use. Switching to hand washing, maintaining wax protection, and avoiding automated car washes will keep your paint looking corrected for years.
